Easy Chocolate Sauce 

 

I like to store this in a glass airtight container and it will stay for at least a month in your fridge.  You can also half the recipe if your not into chocolate sauce as much as I am.  This sauce is a great ready-made fondue, can be used in chocolate recipes like bread pudding or just on top of bananas and ice cream.....YUMMY!

 

 

 

Ingredients:

1 1/4 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon butter

 

16 ounces (1 lb.) chocolate chips, I like 60% cocoa 

 

 

 

Directions:

  1. Simmer the cream and butter in a saucepan for approximately 5 minutes, do not let burn
  2. Add chips and stir with a whisk until melted
  3. When reheating for future use, microwave for 10 second intervals depending on quantity. I use 10 seconds to heat 2 tablespoons.  If you do it too long it will burn and separate.
