This is a recipe from my Auntie Roopa who lives in Reunion Island, the island is neighbor to my homeland of Mauritius.  She received this delicious recipe from her friend who lives both in Madagascar and India.  So there you go, if your a foodie who loves new recipes that are cultural and delicious, this one’s for you.  It’s super easy.

Ingredients:

4 6 ounce fish fillets without skin (use a thicker fish like halibut, snapper, salmon, etc)

1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste

1/2 teaspoon pepper or to taste

1 tablespoon canola oil

1 tablespoon fresh chopped ginger

1 tablespoon chopped garlic

1 cup plain full fat yogurt

4 tablespoon tandoori spice mix

Directions:

  1.  Oil dish (like a lasagna dish) and place fish inside
  2.  Salt and Pepper fish
  3.  Make a paste from the ginger, garlic, yogurt and tandoori spice mix
  4.  Add mixture to the top of the each piece of fish, it will look like lot but don’t worry it’s correct
  5.  Bake at 400 for 20 min or until top is brown
  6. Garnish with Lemon and parsley
